Alternative Energy Institute

West Texas A&M University of Canyon, Texas, is home to the internationally recognized Alternative Energy Institute (AEI).

Established in 1977, AEI's primary focus is on wind energy research. AEI is headed by Ken Starcher, former board member of the American Wind Energy Association.
